The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the two fighters met personally to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Former two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather targeted former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Size Difference
As both boxers participated in the usual confrontation, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is really happening.
